• 60 children have got a gifts for The Knowledge Day!

     Yes! We did it! But not alone, but together with the team of LLC "4Friends", which took an active part in the all-Ukrainian campaign "Collect a briefcase for a child", which Volunteer Community Ukr announced a month ago.

    Children of different ages - from 1st to 11th grade - live in families that are currently in difficult circumstances. Many of the children are immigrants who came to Kyiv Oblast, Zhytomyr Oblast, and Lviv Oblast in 2022 and this summer. So, the "4Friends" team collected and gave gifts to 60 children!

     

    Volunteers of the "Kyiv Hesed" Volunteering Center received gifts for 20 children. So, regardless of the heat, business and the threat of bombing, the volunteers came to the hesed, laid out everything, packed it, and delivered it to the New Post Office. Thus, schoolchildren received backpacks, notebooks, diaries, pencil cases, paints, plasticine, pens, pencils and a lot of modern useful things and accessories to make the learning process interesting and bright. The gifts were handed over through the coordinators of the Volunteering Centers in Kyiv - Ivanna Yedgarova and Elena Borysovets. In addition, the representative of the donor - Yuliya - went to Zhytomyr together with the coordinator to personally give gifts, talk with the children, and convey greetings from all team members. A few more backpacks are now on their way to Lviv and Boryspil! Thanks to our new friends - the 4Friends team for their sincere help!! Thank you to the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" for the logistical support!! Together we provide children with an example of true human values! Let good deeds guide their lives!
