• Volunteers opened the "Crystal Queen" chess club

     The "Kyiv Hesed" volunteering center of the Volunteer Community JDC network in Ukraine, which operates under the "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" IBF, presented a luxurious charity project "Chess Club "Crystal Queen".

    Chess united complete strangers at the celebration, which took place on the occasion of the 8th anniversary of the  JCC "Halom". We did not expect that next to an incredible number of powerful locations, ours - chess - would immediately arouse crazy curiosity! That's why at first there was one table and 2 boards... But literally 10 minutes later, another one... then another... and more... and there were more and more people who wanted to play, so it was agreed that everyone would play in turn! Played from children to adults, girls and boys, ladies and men! So, we invited everyone who wants to join the chess classes of the new club "Crystal Queen" Classes will start on September 22, 2024! The organizers are volunteers of the "Kyiv Hesed" volunteering center, JCC "Halom", volunteers of the "Halom volume" volunteering center. Yes, the intellectual project became an excellent tool for community development!
