When winter sounds warm: “Winter Symphony” in Hesed

On February 9, 2026, our Hesed hosted the “Winter Symphony” - a meeting in which winter sounded not with cold, but with the warmth of hearts.

Even the February frosts and power outages could not stop us - we gathered together to hear poetry, music and feel the special support that a live meeting gives.

The program was opened by the new host of our Center for Community and Cultural and Mass Work - Maria Morozova. Her voice became a gentle thread that connected all parts of the concert into a single canvas - sincere, bright, filled with meaning.

Poetic lines by Maksym Rylsky, Lesya Ukrainka and many other Ukrainian poets sounded from the stage. Some of them are familiar to our wards from childhood, and some became a discovery of this evening. But they are all about beauty, about winter, about life. Because Ukrainian poetry can touch the soul like little else.

The first chords of the song “Snowstorm, snowstorm” set the mood for the entire concert. In the songs, we heard the quiet dance of snowflakes, winter silence and the warmth of the human voice. Compositions sounded in Ukrainian and English, stories of the creation of famous world hits, quotes from prominent authors and even parables about winter - wise, simple and very timely.

These songs warmed us like hot tea on a frosty day

The atmosphere in the hall was truly homely - when you want to listen, be silent, smile and be together.

This evening, the stage lived and breathed thanks to our incredible artists: Iryna Sidorovskaya, Yosyp Mazur, Dmytro Feldman, Alla Pavlyukova, Margarita Reutova, Maria Morozova.

We thank each artist of our Club for the great work with which the program was prepared, for the warmth, sincerity and light that you shared with us.

We thank everyone who came, despite the cold and circumstances.

It was an evening when winter became music, and music became support.
