    CRITERIA

    for providing material assistance to children - clients (CI)

    ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" in the period

    May 23 - June 30, 2025

    as part of the program "Material Assistance - Children"

    for the II quarter of 2025.

    1. The criteria for providing material assistance to clients (CI) of the Fund within the program "Material Assistance - Children" are valid from May 23, 2025. to June 30, 2025. inclusive.

    2. The right to receive material assistance is granted to children - clients of the Fund (CI), whose family members have provided current data on income and the average family income is no more than 3000.00 UAH. per person per month*.

    *Note:

    The following types of possible monthly income are taken into account: salary of an employee or income of a private entrepreneur, pension (old-age/disability, etc.), assistance, alimony, irregular income, income of a family member who works abroad and sends money to the family.

     

    3. The right to receive material assistance is granted to children - clients of the Fund (CI) aged 0 to 18, who are in urgent need of assistance and who:

    ü  belong to the Jewish community of Zhytomyr and Zhytomyr region;

    ü  are registered with the Fund.

    4. The provision of material assistance to children - clients of Hesed (CI) is carried out in accordance with the Principles of Distribution of Material Assistance of the SI Social Program.

    5. Material assistance within the framework of the "Material Assistance - Children" program is provided if there are funds in the program budget.

    6. The basic amount of financial assistance for children-clients of the Fund (CI) is 650.00 UAH per month.

    7. If the number of children in a family is more than two, the amount of financial assistance for the third and each subsequent child in the family is 80% of the assistance that the first or second child should receive.

    8. A disabled child who is entitled to financial assistance in accordance with the current criteria shall be given an allowance of 20% of the basic amount of assistance. The child's disability must be officially confirmed by a certificate of disability.

    9. An incomplete family, i.e. a family in which the child/children are raised and supported by only one parent, is entitled to an allowance of 20% to the basic amount of financial assistance.

    10. Material assistance under the program “Material Assistance – Children” is provided by transferring funds to the current (card) account of one of the parents/guardians opened at JSC “UKRSIBBANK” within the framework of the Fund’s project.

    11. Children – clients of the Fund (CI) who are unable to transfer assistance to the current (card) account of one of the parents/guardians may receive alternative assistance in the form of a food package during the validity of the program criteria.

     

    12. Material assistance under the Criteria under the program “Material Assistance – Children” is calculated in accordance with the information about the child client (CI) in the ServiceNow system, which affects the possibility of calculation, at the time of forming a service application in the ServiceNow system, but no later than the date of transfer of assistance. The amount of material assistance corresponds to the formed service application in the ServiceNow system on the date of transfer of assistance.

     

    13. All non-standard situations that arise when providing assistance under the “Material Assistance – Children” program are considered by the Social Commission and agreed with the Joint.
