• The holocaust remembrance day

Today is Yom HaShoah - Holocaust Remembrance Day. Holocaust Remembrance Day and Heroes of the Resistance

A national day of remembrance for the six million Jews who were exterminated during the Holocaust by Nazi Germany and its allies.

One and a half million of them were killed on the territory of Ukraine.

This day is also dedicated to honoring the heroes of the resistance movement - those who, despite fear, hopelessness and total destruction, found the strength to resist.

In Israel on this day, sirens sound, traffic stops, people stand in mournful silence.

Six torches are lit at the Yad Vashem memorial in Jerusalem - for every million of those killed.

This day is a day of prayer, remembrance and tears.

Today we see again how hate propaganda works, how lies are disguised as truth, and information blockade becomes a weapon. History should be our shield, memory our light, and truth our strength.

We remember. We honor. We continue to work to ensure that the tragedy does not happen again.
