• World Humanitarian Day: supporting refugees

For 25 years, our hesed has been helping people in need. Humanitarian aid has become especially relevant now, during Russia's war against Ukraine, because refugees who suffered from military aggression have joined our wards. Usually, people who moved to the regions in which the Jewish Chesed Bnei Azriel Foundation provides charitable assistance do not have with them the things they need in everyday life. This is not surprising, because people saved their lives and relatives, not property and things. All the more so because here, on the spot, there is our hesed, who will always come to the rescue.

On the eve of the World Humanitarian Day, we made a targeted delivery of hygiene kits to more than 40 wards from the number of IDPs currently living in Kyiv. Most of them are women who were extremely happy with the hygiene products they received - shampoos, deodorants, special medical creams and gels, which so far the evacuees cannot purchase on their own due to difficult financial circumstances.

Our wards thanked all helpers and donors. We join in our sincere thanks and wish for peace, Victory and well-being! Glory to Ukraine!
