The charity aid of hesed and the war in Ukraine

Dear Friends! ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" is a charitable organization that helps to improve the quality of life of the most socially vulnerable people aged 65+ who are registered with the Fund, and persons aged 18 to 65, members of the Jewish community of Kyiv, Zhytomyr and the regions of these cities.

Clients of hesed can receive:

- Gift certificates for grocery stores;

- Funds for a special bankcard;

- Support of a social worker;

- Medicines and partial payment of treatment;

- Compensation for payment for housing;

- Rehabilitation equipment;

- Consultations of a psychologist online;

- Participation in online projects aimed at preventing social isolation and dementia.

All services are provided subject to availability of funds and within the framework of the Fund's budget.

In the presence of humanitarian aid in the hesed, we help forcibly displaced persons - non-clients of the hesed and non-Jews, who were evacuated in 2022 from the combat zones, determined by the Order of the Ministry on Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine dated 04/28/2022 No. 80 and found themselves in difficult life circumstances.
