Women-refugees has got a humanitarian aid

The biggest national holiday - the Independence Day of Ukraine - this year for all of us became not just a symbol of the freedom of the state. This holiday was chosen for the exploits of our defenders, who are making heroic resistance to the racist onslaught. This is a memory of human grief and loss, of the path to national unity and mutual assistance. Many of our compatriots left their homes to save their lives. Someone plans to return home after the war, and someone has nowhere to return to, because the war burned down their homes and everything that was there. Forced resettlement is especially felt during the holidays, because there is no place to meet them, with what funds to celebrate, what to treat the guests.

But we, ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel", do not leave the victims alone in difficult life situations! Together with caring people in these difficult times, we help forcibly resettled persons who have become members of the Jewish community or wards of our hesed. On the eve of Ukraine's Independence Day, we made a targeted delivery of humanitarian aid to elderly IDP women who arrived in Kyiv from Donetsk, Mariupol and Druzhkivka, Mykolaiv and Kharkiv regions, Toretsk and Kramatorsk. These people were forced to leave absolutely everything in order to get out of hell alive. Our new wards shared their memories, feelings, remembered relatives and friends they had to leave at home, and we tried to support them with kind words and help.

It should be noted that everyone we talked to is absolutely confident in the Victory of Ukraine over the Russian invaders. Everyone wishes for a quick Victory and peace, reconstruction and prosperity! We join these bright wishes! Glory to the Ukrainian people! Glory to Ukraine! Together we will win!
