We do agree! After all, our Hesed works to ensure that our clients receive quality social services, and also had the opportunity to enrich their spiritual world and to develop creativity.

The Jewish people have long been famous for their talents in all areas of human intellectual activity, science and creative arts. A great number of explorers and scientists are known to the world! However, the number of sculptors, architects, poets, writers, jewelers, artists is not inferior to them. The creativity of the Jewish people is not only known to the Jews themselves, but also became the world cultural heritage. It is so important not to lose the pearls of this heritage, to preserve the talent and give it the opportunity to be realized! ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel", understanding the importance of our mission, makes every effort to create a creative environment and support the talents of our clients. So we are pleased to start developing one more direction of cultural and social work – organization of art exhibitions of works of art whose authors are our clients. In addition, we participate as co-organizer of such events.

The first embodiment of this direction was the participation of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" in an art exhibition, which was held in the Verkhovna Rada (the Parliament) of Ukraine at the end of September 2016. During the week MPs and staff of Parliament of Ukraine, its guests and the journalists could admire the beautiful paintings of Herman Gold, Irina Klimova and Vladimir Cotsupala.

Of particular interest were the paintings "The righteous of the World" and "Grandma's chair" from Herman Gold, an international well-known artist. The first canvas depicts a family of Pedachenko, who saved Jewish children during the tragic events in Babiy Yar. And from the second picture the viewer is watched by a cute little Jewish girl, nestled in the chair her grandmother and absorbed all her love and care. Yes, in that very order – from war to peace – the author sees life. And his view of life with incredible energy is transmitted to the world through pictures.

Our activity in the direction of maintenance and development of the Jewish cultural heritage was rewarded by the gratitude of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine in the face of the people's Deputy Dmytro Lubenets. We are confident that the exhibition "Planet Earth is one: Ukraine – Israel" has become one of the important milestones in the history of our Hesed, and also gave rise to the cultural activities that we intend to pursue in the future.
