Star guest in our club: evening with the brilliant humorist Alexander Volodarskiy

What a nasty weather it was yesterday! This is especially noticeable for older people who don’t always go out of house in winter even if they need. However, the bad weather and the cold did not stop the fans of Alexander Volodarskiy to visit the meeting with their favorite humorist, screenwriter, playwright, optimist and just a good man!

Alexander Yefimovich Volodarskiy was born 18 December 1954 in Kiev. He graduated from the Moscow higher technical school named after Bauman. But a bright temperament and creative talent of Alexander have stood on the way of the technical career of a young engineer, so in 1988 he graduated from the Higher Theater courses at GITIS, having received the diploma "Playwright of the stage".

 

Brilliant, sparkling monologues of Alexander Volodarskiy were performed by Maria Mironova, Gennady Khazanov, Klara Novikova, Yefim Shifrin, Vladimir Vinokur and many other famous humorists

In 1991 he published the book "Sad joke", which had massive success. Since then there was a lot published, and even more written, and the degree of popularity of the author is high to these days. So the auditory met this amazing person with ovations, and the entire performance was held in incredibly warm and joyful atmosphere. Humorous stories of the artist interspersed with memoirs of his life. The audience heartily laughed at his jokes and joked in response. On cues from the audience and questions to the author it was clear that there met real admirers of Alexander Volodarskiy’ talent and connoisseurs of Jewish humor. Spontaneity, sincerity, modesty and benevolence of the speaker were so impressing that the listeners did not let the artist go, asking to speak more and more.... It is known that laughter prolongs life. And we are sure that thanks to yesterday's meeting, our clients will live 120 years in good health and good spirit!
