Sweet-voiced Hesed: Emma Burdinskaya, the Queen of the most delicious chocolates design and the popular singer
Remember how in the childhood we opened a box of delicious chocolates with delight and anticipation? And then kept this beautiful box, folding in our "treasures" — wrappers, calendars, cards and other items, such a cute to a child heart? And how, savoring the chocolate, our fingers gently smoothed the wrapper considering the pattern? All the candies were delicious! And we chose to present the ones that were beautifully and elegantly decorated – complimenting mothers, grandmothers, friends and loved ones. But who created all this beauty? After all, somebody was realizing the dreams of a sweet tooth of 1/6 of the planet on the boxes and wrappers?
Yes, indeed! For 30 years, famous designer and popular singer and now a ward of our Hesed, Emma Burdinskaya has created more than 800 drawings for the packaging of confectionery products produced in the Soviet Union and later in Ukraine. Among them are all favorite "Squirrel", "Red poppy", "Daisy", "Cinderella", "Bird's milk", "Kara-Kum", "Gulliver" and many other yummies...
But talented people are talented in everything! Including singing. As Emma told us, she inherited the singing talent from mom. The one of Doneck descent perfected her skills at the Conservatory of Kiev. After successful studies in the vocal Studio, she continued her career in two directions – as a designer in the structure of Ministry of food manufacturing industry and as a singer of Ukrconcert. During numerous tours and concerts Emma Burdinskaya worked with well-known artists of Opera and variety art.
Now Emma does not draw anymore. But she is still singing and giving concerts. And her artistic gift was manifested in the sewing of concert dresses and unique jewelry that she makes herself.
Accessories to formal and casual dresses are of an excellent quality and a source of pride of not only the mistress, but also of our Hesed. After all, Emma Burdinskaya is our ward, a volunteer and member of a large Hesed family. Bravo, Emma!
