«Roads to home»: in Kiev Hesed opened a personal exhibition of German Vizulis

Do you want to extend the summer? Dive into the warm sea? Go to the green valleys? Walk along the Jewish quarter in Italy or in Poland? Then come to us! From 8 to 24 September, 2017 at the Jewish Art Hub located in the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" has been opened a charity solo art exhibition of German Vizulis.

The exhibition runs in the format of the vernissage. The artist presented works which have in the plot the events of life of the Jewish people in war and peace times. Among them are the tragedy of Kazimierz, the miser evening light of the European streets, which were once lived by the Jews… and also the apples for Rosh Hashanah... the green Carpathians, the sea and rivers, the bridges, which were used by the families hoping to find a peaceful and serene life... to find Home. That's why the exhibition is called – "Roads to home". Each has his own. But no wonder that people say "Peace to your home!", and they hear in response - "With peace we accept!" And the gala opening ceremony took place on 8 September, on the eve of Sabbath. Raisa Gritsenko, Director of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel", gave the author a licensed certificate on holding of his solo exhibition, and guests genuinely thanked German for those impressions, which give his works to the visitors. Well, how not to thank? With his warm, literally velvet works the master skillfully imbues the space with a feeling of home, light and comfort. Of the 18 paintings, represented by artist, most are written this summer specially for our exhibition. And we have to admit the premiere has happened! Special popularity gained the cycle of "Kazimierz" (Jewish town in Krakow, Poland). And the series "Carpathians" – a vivid, sensual works – delighted fans of the landscapes. The technique used by the author is pastels - dry and oil. All the pictures are very bright. But the two still-life paintings... Oy-vey! they are painted also with good humor! His paintings recalled to many visitors the picnics of their youth, their College years. And the youth is always beautiful, that’s why his still life paintings were greeted with applause of our guests. Sincere smiles and words of thanks to German - that's what today Hesed is filled with.

Come and listen to these paintings! Since the Vernissage works in a homely, cozy atmosphere, and the works are presented in the interior, You will be able to sit down in a comfortable recreation and to be with paintings as much as You want. And at your request we will hold a tour and tell you a little about the author and his works, which we already has fallen in love with and are very proud of them! The exhibition is located at Piterskaya Street 4A, ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel". Call the curator of the art hub by the phone +38 (050) 412-25-15 and come to visit us! We Are Waiting For You!
