The best bard songs are sung in the ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel"

Winter... Cold is settling everything around with frost, snow and winds... Sometimes winter like the pieces of ice of the Snow Queen from the fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen, penetrates into the hearts of people and makes them indifferent and insensitive. And then the heart of a man becomes just the internal organ for pumping blood. How many such people are around us – the ones with cold hearts! But the more valuable are those whose vocation is to melt ice in human souls. Whose fiery verses of songs will give the fever of the senses in any, even the coldest time of the year and life! Yes, we are talking about them – the bards.

Art song has always been and remains a unique cultural phenomenon – it connects people of different ages, social status and political views to one audience, breathing the same emotional mood. And it's so important in our difficult time. So on the Club’s scene of ICF "Jewish Hesed "Bnei Azriel" you can quite often hear the guitar and words that are familiar to us from the childhood, or a new musical composition.

25 January 2017 Hesed opened again its hospitable doors for the second meeting of the club of bard songs "Lira". This time the admirers of this musical genre enjoyed listening to Anna Kalita, Eugeniya Zenyuk and Valery Vinarsky.

According to Emil Krupnik (a bard singer), Eugeniya Zenyuk is one of the most delicate singer-songwriters in Kiev. When she picks up a guitar, the audience dissolve in the sound of her voice, the lilt of music in the semantic and the sensual richness of the texts. Her sensitive heart chooses the best, most sonorous, and trusts it to our hearts.

Describing Anna Kalita, Emil noticed that Anya is a very smooth, calm, flexible person, easy to communicate with. Anna is a candidate of biological sciences, has long and successfully written and sung wonderful songs with a guitar. Among other great songs, the bard performed songs in the French language.

Our wards were awarding with applause the songs, "I am drawing you again" and "Chimera", performed by Valery Vinarsky, who became a frequenter at meetings of our Hesed.

The audience - our wards and volunteers – were very happy to give applause to the artists and didn't let them go from the stage for long. And we, in turn, thank the musicians for a great performance and invite all the fans of bard songs to actively participate in our club! Looking forward to see you, dear authors!
