• In the art gallery the lady asks the attendant:

    - Tell me, is it van Gogh painting?
    - No, it's Manet.
    - And this is Cezanne, isn't it?
    - No, that's Gauguin.
    - But this is definitely the Picasso!
    - No, it's a mirror...

A mirror of the mood and the emotional state of our clients has become their own paintings today at our club during the art therapy class conducted by a popular Ukrainian artist Slava Zaymak.

It was very interesting to watch how some of them as first hesitated, others didn't know how to hold a brush, and other participants, by contrast, took up the brush with enthusiasm... As our creative personalities painted their pictures, gradually changed their tone of voice, facial expressions, the mood... It was evident not only by the fun and laughter which arose at the express, joyful atmosphere of the club, but also in the fact how confident and strong became their strokes, transforming the memories of artists in real and different pictures! Today we painted landscapes - from the water world to the morning in the mountains, worked with acrylic paints. Next time we will have a more serious lesson: the group will create the hearts of gold, the delicate wings and fantastic stories by using a special "gun", glue and paints. The project’ participants are already looking forward to new lessons with great enthusiasm and impatience.

We are very thankful to Slava Zaymak for his kind heart and time spent, we wish him many creative successes, inspiration and are waiting for his next visit!
